McAuley Family Chiropractic, formerly known as Spencer Chiropractic Center has been caring for the Federal Way, Washington community for over 20 years. We have developed an approach that our patients trust and respect. We differ from many offices in several ways. We utilize private treatment rooms, and spend quality time each and every treatment. While we want to be able to serve as many members of our chiropractic family, we never rush our treatments and utilize full 15 minute treatment appointments.
We offer digital x-rays and will explain all of our examination findings in full detail, so you will understand how we can help you reach maximum physical potential. Individualized Treatment Plans
Everybody who walks through our door is a unique individual with different goals. We work together to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals. After a thorough consultation and examination, we will give you recommendations whether it may be for pain relief, spinal maintenance, spinal correction, or preventative care.
What To Expect
Your First Visit
Our priority at McAuley Family Chiropractic is to offer quality chiropractic care in a comfortable environment. Upon arriving at our clinic, we will have you begin by filling out new patient forms, which can be provided prior to arrival.
A consultation is then performed with Dr. McAuley to discuss past and present health problems, as well as health goals to determine if chiropractic care is likely to help you. If it is determined that you are a candidate for chiropractic care, a detailed examination of chiropractic, orthopedic and neurological tests will then be performed. This examination may include X-Rays if clinically indicated. Dr. McAuley will typically adjust each patient on the first visit.
A Report of Findings will then be scheduled within 24 hours to discuss examination and x-ray findings, followed by a discussion of treatment options.
Your Second Visit
Dr. McAuley will explain these x-ray and examination findings, as well as treatment recommendations. During this visit, we will answer any questions and address any concerns.
Treatment recommendations may include chiropractic care, massage therapy, corrective exercises, lifestyle advice and nutritional support. We will then proceed with the appropriate treatment based on your individualized recommendation of care.
